An intimate event is not only established by the guest count or size of a given space, intimacy is an emotion that is constructed with the implementation of thoughtful details, a meaningful location, and the right creative team to bring a design to life in a way only those closest to the host would notice. This small bridal lunch was planned and designed in just a few short weeks. Jesse and Kathleen Deery sourced each item to conceive the tabletop; some decor pieces were even from Kathleen’s personal collection. Jesse wanted the event to feel rich but look understated, be bold and colorful while maintaining an elegant and feminine feel, all while still having design substance and visual textural interest.

It’s not only fruits and vegetables that have specific seasons in which they shine. It's always Jesse's preference - and the world's top floral designers - to hand select blooms that are in the prime of their season. Here, cafe au lait dahlias, garden roses, clematis vine, pomegranate, snapdragons and blackberry flourish and create harmony together in their seasonal prime.
